ABOUT THE MOVIE
“Al-Ard” is an influential Egyptian movie from 1969, directed by the legendary Youssef Chahine. The story takes place during the Egyptian revolution of 1952 and follows the lives of a group of farmworkers in the Nile Delta who revolt against their oppressive landowners.
